Im trying to get a breadboard view for the Elegoo 2.8" Touch TFT. I’ve created a SVG-file via Inkscape but it always centers a huge bulk behind the part where i drew the connectors (which basically it refers as a huge copper part/ connector). Also the image always gets deleted after trying to add it into a sketch

anyone knows how i can fix this?

Thanks

PCB image load SVG

@KevinNL1999 wrote:

Hi, I would like to use an SVG image as a logo for my PCB. I already created the SVG (on https://www.figma.com) and when I open the SVG file in the browser (Chrome) I can see the image correctly.

However, when I import the same SVG image on my PCB as a ‘Silkscreen Image’ on the top layer of my PCB the only thing I can see is a blacked out image
image

When I move the SVG to the bottom silkscreen of the PCB, I can see the image slightly. This is the correct image, but on the bottom silkscreen.

Is there an extra step I have to make to load the SVG correctly? Do I need to convert my SVG to a PNG file? If so, how can I keep the image quality?

Thanks in advance!

Hi, I’m looking for a ER14250 battery holder for my PCB for this kind of battery:

This is what the battery holder looks like:

Datasheet for this battery holder:

Maybe this battery holder already exists, but I couldn’t find it in the existing Fritzing parts. I also searched the internet to see if people already made this, but unfortunately without success

Using a Decoupling Capacitor and Ground Fill

@joshbg2k wrote:

Hi folks,

Here’s an issue I’ve run into. I have a decoupling capacitor between the main power source (component A) and power/ground of the component I’m powering (component B). When I run the ground fill process, the ground pin on component B connects directly to the ground fill and not the capacitor. The grounds on components A and B are identified as GND in the ground fill seeds list, so toggling it turns all of them on or off.

What I think I need to do is make sure that ground from the power source hits the capacitor before ground on component B. But how can I go about this? Thank you!

Hi All

I quite new to all this. I’m working on a project were I need to place 24 x WS2812b LEDs in a circle on custom PCB. Fritzing does not have the capability to lay this out correctly and accurately so I’ve make a custom part using CorelDraw. I have put in the copper and silkscreen layers, however I need a mask

What I need to end up with all the tracks having a mask and only the pads exposed, what I getting is ALL copper exposed.

So how do I add a copper mask, what slayer names are used?

Thanks

Brian
