It would be great if someone would create a cross target part for the position of a hole?
Also can someone explain why when you type a measurement to position a hole why it changes to a dimension different to what you typed in. I at first thought it was because I had snap to grid on, but it made no difference when i disabled it.

Hi, I downloaded Fritzing, used it to make a schematic with Arduino UNO, saved it and a couple of weeks later Fritzing and the schematic are completely gone from my computer

Could someone please make this part for me please? Turns out Raspbery Pi reccommends you use it on your hats so you can identify your board to the Pi.
I’ve made some parts in fritzing myself now, but not SMD ones, and the ones I did make mean I now need to get another PCB fabricated lol.

Hi,
I’m trying to install fritzing 0.9.4. on openSUSE Leap 15.1.
error: Failed dependencies: fritzing-parts = 0.9.4 is needed by fritzing-0.9.4-lp151.225.1.x86_64
Unfortunately I could only find fritzing-parts version 0.9.3b, so I tried to install these. My hope was to regenerate the parts database later.

and with some errors on not finding parts (as I was expecting).
Database failure
Is there anything, I can do? Has someone managed to get fritzing 0.9.4 running under openSUSE Leap 15.1?

At this moment I am redesigning an existing PCB layout and want to rotate it by 90 degrees.
At first I thought this is a piece of cake : select everything then execute the rotate command.
But I find this impossible to do. Is there a way I can do this?

I am looking for the Romeo V2.2 motor controller board from DFrobot but I am unable to find it in the parts list and in the Forum via search, but there exists a youtube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rO9-IKVNFzk) as an example where this board is used so maybe someone has already made the part?

Where does Fritzing store it’s list of “known” parts, i.e. which file?
The reason I ask is because Fritzing has lost my part I have been creating but when I attempt to load the .fzpz file back into Fritzing it displays a message saying “There is already a part with id … loaded into Fritzing”.
I would like to get rid of that part that Fritzing “thinks” is loaded and re-load my part.

Browsing this forum about this topic I only saw something about the grid visibility some years ago : 2016. But could not use that.
Is there a way to enhance the grid visibility or change its colour? I am facing problems with this, hardly can notice the grid. Or did I overlook another, more recent (than 2016)thread about this?

Hi, I wanted to know if it is possible to create a part with a gradient… I made a part in inkscape and applied gradient to make it look prettier, but when adding it to fritzing that layer does not look … it appears blank or empty.
It is a detail, I can make the part in only one color, but I want to know if it can.

I’m totally new to Fritzing (and to arduino).
I’m trying to build a very simple NodeMCU multi-probes temperature device.
In reality, i did it again on a breadboard, I would like to replicate the same on fritzing to build a printable PCB (jlcpcb i think)
I have some issue with autorouting on Schema and PCB, but let’s start step by step, do you thinkg this breadboard would work ?
It’s very simple: a nodemcu, a DC power jack (5v, but i’ll add more parts later), 6 temperature probes connected with a JST connector. Each JST has one pin to the ground, one pin to the +5V and 1 pin connected to a 4.7kohm resistor and then to the 5V

I had a PCB made that I designed using Fritzing. The hole sizes for standard through hole resistors and TO92 transistors are huge. For version 2 of my board, I would like to shrink the hole sized on these parts to 0.7mm, but I dont know how?? My resistor is pin spacing is 300mill.
