Hi,
I found several molex 8 pin connectors in here but unfortunately, distance between rows are 4.2mm instead of 5.5mm with my aliexpress clone
Tried to move the pins from a previous one but really can’t use the editor properly.

Heres the details of mine

First time user have yet to order PCB board

Hello… I’ve designed my PCB board and I’m ready to have it manufactured. Can you confirm if I’ll receive an Arduino header or an actual Arduino board?

From the Arduino parts list, I selected a board, (Mega ADK). I designed my PCB but I need to know if I’ll receive a header printed on my PCB board or an Arduino Mega ADK printed on my PCB board.

Thank you,
Lonnie

North American 120V AC Outlet

Looking for a 120VAC Outlet Part

This may be a stupid question, but has anyone made a part that just represents a 120VAC wall outlet? Or is it not possible to assume a non-battery power source?

Pretty sure I saw one that someone had made for a custom brewery schematic, when I googled it, but they didn’t provide the Fritzing part.

Still working out how to make new parts from custom ones, or else I’m sure I’d have my answer. Would love to see what may already be out there… for convenience.

Apologies if this isn’t in the right post-category

Cytron MDD10A Fritzing File?

Hello, I have searched the internet and unfortunately come up empty handed.

There used to be an old Google Drive link that Cytron provided which contained the Fritzing files, however, it doesn’t work anymore.

May I ask if anyone knows where to find the file for a Cytron MDD10A?

Size problem, required shield PCB dimensions

$

I have a 2.8-inch SPI TFT Module with PCB board dimensions of 50 x 86 mm. I want to interface this PCB to the Arduino UNO PCB with a shield like connection. The UNO PCB has dimensions smaller than the display PCB. I want to connect this 2.8-inch SPI TFT Module PCB to the shield PCB using a 14-pin socket header.

I am venturing into a more advanced layout problem. I would like to “assume” that if I use a Fritzing PCB with dimensions of 100mm long x 80mm high, and drag the Fritzing Arduino UNO part onto the larger Fritzing PCB.
Then, according to the details of my Fritzing PCB drawing
everything will fit together as shown in the attached Fritzing file.
Under these assumptions, the UNO part will locate the plated thru holes onto the proposed shield PCB.

When I design this shield PCB in this manner, I expect that the Gerber file generated will produce one PCB for the shield PCB with the PCB plated thru holes generated by the UNO PCB part and the 14-pin socket header.

Is this correct?

Power header ratsnesting positive to negative

Hey guys,

I’ve probably done something stupidly wrong here, but after quite a lot of time of debugging and unable to understand exactly what the issue was, I thought I’d ask for some proper help.

I’m trying to design a PCB, which is powered by a generic two pin header. The issue is that in the PCB view the ratsnest takes negative to positive, or vice versa, then out to the rest of the board, which breaks routing.

I’ve checked connections in breadboard view, everything looks to be okay as when I click the individual positive or negative pins, all of the correct connections light up.

We can see this in the screenshot below for J8 - I expect two seperate ratsnests out from the header, but they merge into one across the pins.

Any help would be much appreciated - many thanks

VCC Arrow symbol?

I’m new to Fritzing and just coming up to speed, and have a question. Instead of the schematic “power” symbol I’d like to use a simple arrow VCC symbol instead. Does anyone know of a simple arrow part that can be downloaded? I’ve looked in this forum and in Github, but cant find one.

Arrows

Thanks,

Jack

Bauteile- Editor, Bild als Ansicht laden, Probleme mit Schriftarten

$

Liebe community,

LG Leonardo

Potentiometer symbol

$

Hello,
I really do not like the potentimeter symbol as it looks more like a rheostat. In fact, this is an open issue in the part repository: Symbol of preset is wrong · Issue #306 · fritzing/fritzing-parts · GitHub
I would like to change it in the core and I have made a first attempt, but my svg has a couple of issues:

  • The pins are not aligned to the grid
  • The terminal of the wiper is a bit off
I also noticed that it looks a bit different from the resistor. Maybe it would be nice to double check that it follows the conventions for Fritzing parts.

If any one could fix it, I would make a PR to change it.
Thanks!

Bluetooth 5.0 Transmitters

$

I was wondering if someone has a 5.0 Bluetooth transmitter that they’ve paired with the Nox to see if it is actually APTX LL or not. I have 3 models of the Taotronics TT-Ba07, 08, and 09, none give the + sign when paired to the machine. I’m not trying to use it with the Nox, but another machine. My Q-12 earbuds when paired have the + sign. I need a transmitter to use with the Q-12’s for minimum lag. Any input or suggestions would be highly appreciated.
